Cheryl Hackett was recently Certified as an Accredited Jenny Haskins Instructor.
She attended a week long school in Knoxville, TN were she was taught many different techniques in machine embroidery.
Cheryl is excited to offer classes in what she has learned.

Compassionate Friends 
Compassionate Friends is a group that meets to work on the lap quilts that we will be giving out to those who are facing some of life biggest obstacles.
If you wish to be a part of this group you will need to the following information:
Sit & Sew with Compassionate Friends Supply list:
1.Bring a sewing machine if you have one.
2. Get into your stash & find fabric that you can live without but would bring comfort to others.
3. Basic sewing supplies.
4. Quilt squares will be 12 ½" sq.
5. Feel free to make blocks at home & drop them off, we will put them with the others that have been donated & turn them into lap quilts when the group meets.
6. If you are making blocks at home do any type you want & like to do. Here at the shop we will be making 9 patches most of the time but we are open to any suggestions.
7. All quilts will be scrappy, so don't worry about colors matching it all looks good when it has been made with love.
8. Most important bring your love for quilting & sharing with others, cause ladies we are touching lives with these quilts.
